Keurig Supports Local Roasters with New Love Blend
As the COVID-19 pandemic surged across the country, many people turned to their Keurig machine for their morning cup of coffee. This meant fewer and fewer people visiting their local café and spending money to support these small businesses. At Keurig, we realized we had a unique opportunity to make a bigger impact during a time of struggle for both our consumers and the coffee community at large.
According to a new study from the National Restaurant Association, nearly 17% of U.S. restaurants closed either permanently or long-term amid the coronavirus pandemic. If people were going to bring the café experience home, we wanted to show them that Keurig can help them not just enjoy great coffee but support local roasters as they do it.
We collaborated with five local roasters from across America to co-create three unique, limited-edition roasts with Keurig. The collection is named The Keurig Love Blend, available now for $24.99, and the purchase of this coffee directly supports the local roasters, listed below:
