Continuing to Provide for Our Communities

Through corporate philanthropy, local community relations and engaging our employees in giving back, Keurig Dr Pepper has always been dedicated to helping to build healthier, stronger communities. Heading into 2020, we had big plans to continue anchoring our philanthropy effort with our Let’s Play program. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 profoundly changed our lives, our work and the ways we interact with one another. From the very beginning, our teams in North America and Mexico have shown their appreciation for frontline workers in their communities by providing them with something that many of us find comforting: our favorite beverages.

Teams across Mexico donated to various medical facilities. The Tecamac plant made product donations to three nearby hospitals. Similarly, our team in Tehuacan, Puebla, made three donations of products to the city’s six most prominent medical units, all of which were accompanied by messages of support written by team members at the plant.

Throughout North America, teams donated product to frontline workers in need. Employees from the Twinsburg, Ohio facility wanted to express their gratitude to first responders at the City of Warren Fire & Rescue by donating cases of High Brew and Forto coffee shots to these essential workers in their community. In addition to sending a variety of products to Mercy Hospital and Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, the team also donated cases of Snapple 100% Juice to the Des Moines public school district for the drive-up lunches program that provides lunches to children and families in need.
