Introducing BrewID
Today’s coffee drinker, and the way we all engage with coffee, is changing. Consumers want more variety and more customizability. That’s why we are introducing BrewID as part the new K-Supreme Plus SMART brewer, which is our most tech-forward and personalized brewer ever. BrewID technology recognizes each different K-Cup pod – whether that’s Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, The Original Donut Shop, Peet’s or any of our owned or partner brands – and calibrates the brew settings to the recommendations of the coffee roasting experts
We’ve been developing this customizable solution for years. We know that coffee lovers are getting younger, tech savvier and more quality-driven; at the same time, everyone’s lives have changed, and at-home convenience is more important to a new cadre of work-from-home warriors. To tailor BrewID technology to meet these new preferences, we looked to focus groups, external research and our own specialists to ensure we deeply understood what customers wanted from their at-home coffee experiences.
BrewID is our most advanced brewing technique to date, and its incorporation into the K-Supreme Plus SMART brewer gives customers a next-generation technology platform designed for a perfectly customized, rich, full-flavored coffee just the way they like it. BrewID’s integrated technology seamlessly allows for that personalization without adding overly complicated digitization that would slow down the user experience. Keurig owners can store favorite settings, schedule ahead and even brew remotely. Combined with our proprietary Smart Auto-delivery, which helps you manage your pantry, BrewID recognizes when a customer is low on K-Cup pods and ships to consumer more pods at the right time. Keurig Supreme Plus SMART brewer with BrewID was designed to deliver a more convenient and customized way for our consumers to get a high-quality cup of coffee.
We designed this technology as a true disrupter to the at-home brewing experience, and based on what we’ve heard so far, we hit the mark. CNN called the KSPS the “highlight of the morning,” while the Food Network said “if you are into having your coffee the way you like it when you like it, [the KSPS] may be your new best friend.”
